How long has this service been running and who is it for?
The service was created in 2011 in the Czech Republic. It is an online forum where the users can share their experience with phone numbers, both annoying (mostly telemarketing, surveys) and useful (e.g. couriers, offices)..
Since the beginning, the service has been received very well, which led to localization into more languages. Nowadays, the forum exists in more than 20 languages and 34 countries throughout the world.
The service is intended for anyone who wants to identify the owner of an unknown phone number. The creators of the forum have also recently created the mobile app Call Insider for Android phones. This app, which is connected to the database of the website phonedirectory.nz, also allows users to automatically block telemarketing numbers.
I've blocked this number. When I phoned it back it was the Manuawatu Standard newspaper which is rubbish as the number is an Aucand one. It's a nuisance call.

They phone where I work all the time and no one talks, I recognise the number now and just hang up, they mustn't have anything better to do in their lives but be a pain in someone elses. They need to get a life.

This number has called me twice this week (plus numerous times in the past months) and I have let it go to answerphone. Every time the caller has hung up as soon as the answerphone picks up which annoys me greatly.

Rang my cell number for the first time this afternoon, around 3.30pm. I missed the call but they left no message. Rate as nuetral since it's the first call

A couple of times a month, this number calls our landline. After the first couple of calls with no response from the caller when answering, I put it on call block.
Surely the police should track this malicious caller?

Calls constantly - almost every 8 or so hours. Receiving calls 8 to 15 times per week for at least last 3 months but a slightly irregular frequency pattern. Caller ID shows with an extra 0 ie 009-272-2600. I never answer. They never leave a message. Obviously some kind of scam attempt.
